Die My Darling is a four member goth rock band from Los Angeles with a slight glam rock look and sound similar to The Newlydeads. Even though their music is primarily created with gutar, bass and drums; they incorporate electronic programming and haunting synthscapes into their sound as well. The vocals are a mix between spoken word and aggressive singing.
While the first song here entitled “Sleep” doesn’t really do a lot for me, the second track “Pain” does. It combines relaxed electronic moments and talking vocals with energetic aggressive guitar thrashing and yelling mad vocals. The dark synthscapes floating in the background are also superb. This song really shows promise for the band. The remaining four songs here are just remixes of “Sleep” and “Pain” that aren’t as good as the orginals.

A label needs to pick up this band as they definitely have it together and prove here that they can make some rather creative and interesting music for the gothic music scene.
