Ego Likeness is the darkwave duo of S. Archer and D. Lynch. The songs offered here play at a moody mid-tempo pace. The music is very well developed and layered with electronic programming, synth melodies, piano and guitar. Both the male and female vocals are superb. The male vocals have an appealing deep tone and the female vocals are beautiful. Everything comes together very well producing an extremely high quality sound.

My only complaint is that most of the songs sound similar playing at about the same pace. A few energetic club tracks would have been nice for variety. But the songs still do a decent job of sounding somewhat different, and there's not a bad one to be found.

I am actually quite surprised that I haven't heard about this band prior to getting this CD as they make some really quality music that I think would appeal to a large audience.
