This is very clean and well produced alternative style music with a good blend of melody. The layering and structure of the various instruments such as guitar, bass and percussion is done extremely well. Michael Aston has a good singing voice and carries a tune wonderfully over all of the music delivered here. The songs have a somewhat artistic vibe which gives them a stylish edge. The songs do a good job of all sounding different from each other, but still fit together quite well. The CD flows smoothly from start to finish due to the songs being placed in a good order. There is a lot of variety from faster paced rock songs to more mellow and romantic ballads. This is a very quality and polished CD that fans of melodic alternative music shouldn't miss.
