J.A.R is yet another dark experimental electronic act that offers a varied blend of ambience, noise and samples all mixed together with dramatic orchestrations.

Mainly what is delivered on this CD are slow cold dreary instrumental tracks with some experimental sounds in the mix. Basically, this sounds like an artist that would be on the Tone Casualties label.

Unfortunately, this recording just doesn’t do a whole lot for me. I find the music to be too mellow and repetitive. Usually how a track begins is how it sounds all the way through. So, for me, these instrumentals are a little hard to sit through. But they are well developed for what they are, and should please those who enjoy this style of music.
