Kuroi Mori is the funky experimental project of Hiroki Furutani. Guest musicians and vocalists are also credited on this release.

The music contained here is a mix of cold ambient melodies, various sounds, bass beats, spoken word and chanting. The music goes from slow and dreary soundscapes to somewhat energetic compositions with driving drums and frantic piano. So there’s defintiely a lot of variety on this disc.

While this genre of music isn’t really my thing, it is good for what it is. And people who enjoy this style of music should find it to be quite interesting and artistic from beginning to end.
