This is the newest Machines Of Loving Grace album, and it rocks. There are only a couple of slow songs to be found here. Everything else is fast paced and aggressive. This album is straight forward. The guitars are heavy, drums thrashing, and vocals yelling. But everything is catchy with great rhythms and beats that make each of the songs stand apart from each other. There are slightly distorted vocals and some touches of electronics. But this is pretty much alternative rock for the most part. There are still enough industrial touches found on this album to please cyber music fans. I am glad that the band has went this harder and angrier route. Because this is obviously where their true talent is. However, I would like to see greater uses of electronics and synths on their next album.
