The Monitors are a campy goth punk band that create rather humorous music that is quite catchy and fun in a twisted way.

Their music is a combination of electronics, synths, guitars and drum programming that is creative and well structured with good hooks. The vocals are clean and clear and sing in a somewhat high-pitched tone with a dash of craziness to them.

Overall, this band reminds me of classic goth punk bands such as The Cramps, The Damned and T.S.O.L.. Since I grew up on those bands, I do find The Monitors entertaining for all of the same reasons, bringing back fond memories of my younger punk days.

If you enjoy tongue-in-cheek goth punk music, The Monitors is definitely a band for you.
