This is a collection of songs from the early 80's rock band Smack. The music delivered here sounds like almost every other rock band from that time period. It's hard and heavy with squeeling guitar chords, deep bass and harsh drum beats. The singing is clean and kind of high pitched. There is a slight funk flavor found here as well. This is structured straight forward tightly created mainstream sounding rock music. The recording quality is top notch and the music is very well produced. But I don't know why this CD was sent to us for review. This just isn't the kind of music we usually cover. But if you like 80's rock music, I would suggest giving this CD a listen.
