Stillstand is the solo dark ambient project of Martin Steinbach. What he delivers here are dark and haunting electronic nightmares. This music would be perfect for a sci-fi horror film. Everything creeps along in an eerie fashion creating a chilling atmosphere. Dreary melodies float along while various electronic sounds twist and turn through it all. This isn't the kind of music that I could picture someone putting in their stereo and listening to. But it's definitely quality sound art that deserves to be included in movies and video games.
